The company is primarily engaged in the mining of iron ores. It is involved in the development of mine sites, mining, and/or beneficiating (i.e., preparing) iron ores and manganiferous ores valued chiefly for their iron content and/or the production of sinter iron ore (except iron ore produced in iron and steel mills) and other iron ore agglomerates. It was incorporated in May of 1994. The company has a registered office located in Jerez de los Caballeros in Badajoz, Spain.
